Step into a future-positive world where we've found a balance with the natural environment. This "City" (it's more of a hamlet, really) is a place where waste doesn't exist—only resources waiting to be reimagined.

Here you'll find energy currents to glide along, forgotten tech to unearth, and a repertoire of repurposed gadgets to craft—all without a single enemy to fight. Your challenges come from the environment itself.

Explore our hidden nooks, scale the tops of our highest peaks, and meet our eccentric and cough (sometimes) endearing locals. You'll find yourself at the center of a mystery that will test more than just your engineering skills.

Zephyr Solaris

A brilliant but impulsive engineer from the high-tech metropolis of New Arcadia. Sent to Bloomlight City on a critical mission, Zeph must learn to balance his love for thrills with careful planning to unravel the town's mysteries.

As Zeph delves deeper into Bloomlight's past, he discovers that his efficiency-first approach that earned him acclaim in New Arcadia meets a guarded response from the locals.

Can he restore their grid without disrupting what makes Bloomlight special?

The Refactory

At the heart of Bloomlight City lies the Refactory — here you'll transform scavenged materials into tools that define your journey.

Your ACTIVE tools determine your capabilities while ENERGY and MATERIAL resources must be balanced carefully. Each configuration requires meaningful decisions. Will you prioritize the Glider's graceful flight, the Sensor's detection abilities, or perhaps the Charged Jump for reaching the highest heights?

Our Unreal Engine 5.5 prototype already includes key features:

  • Double Jump, Charged Jump, and Gliding mechanics
  • Complete energy management system
  • Working Refactory UI for tool crafting
  • Mantling animation with motion warping
  • Save/load system that preserves all game state
  • Energy HUD showing current and temporary energy
  • Enhanced input seamless gamepad/keyboard support
  • Branching dialog and interaction systems

Note: All visuals currently feature placeholder art while we raise funds for our final art direction. Our focus has been on creating solid gameplay mechanics first!
